Gandedhe Kannada Movie

Gandedhe is one of those films that takes picks up the regular and makes it an interesting watch. The story may seem normal and even clichéd if said in words . But blended with some good acting, great chemistry between the lead pair and a lavish production, Gandedhe emerges as a refreshing film in Sandalwood.
The story is about Krishna, a relatively poor boy in college who falls in love with Nandini (Ragini) who happens to be the daughter of rich landlord (Devaraj). Because of their class differences, the girl’s family despises the match. But Nandini is head over heels in love with Krishna. Needless to say he has to win the family members. Helping him out is SMS (Rangayana Raghu) who offers solution for every problem.
There are various twists and turns in the film, with Krishna eloping with Nandini and bringing her back with the same speed. Then there is Manoj who has desires on Nandini while his father Sharath Lohitashva playing the brother of Devraj has some villainous plans. How Krishna with the help of strength and character manages to marry Nandini with the blessings of all forms the rest of the story.
The supporting cast of Rangayana Raghu, Manoj, Devraj and others with their convincing performance lift the film. But it is the lead pair of Chiranjeevi Sarja and Ragini who steals the show. Ragini comes up with a brilliant performance while Chiranjeevi excels in fights and dance. His acting is above average but needs to be improved more to the levels of a good lead actor.
Chakri’s music is adequate if not uplifting. A couple of them are indeed good. Overall the film is a pukka masala film which combines action, love and sentiment in the right mix. Producer Ramu is lavish when it comes to production. All this makes Gandedhe a nice watch.
